Are you an NQT who would love to work with pupils with SEN but do not know what options are available at the start of your teaching career? Do you want to know some different choices beyond the schools where you did your placements? Why not come and ask us all of your NQT related questions?
At Classroom we have a proud history of working with NQTs for over 15 years. As part of our commitment to those new teachers entering the workforce, we are holding an NQT introduction evening on Thursday 1st June at 4pm in our South Woodford office (10 minutes from Stratford station).
The evening will involve a presentation and a Q&A session so feel free to ask us anything about any aspect of your first year teaching. The presentation will cover working both with mainstream and SEN pupils and will cover the following topics:
- Types of jobs open for NQT’s
- Benefits of starting on a temp basis
- NQT year opportunities and how you can also work with SEN
- Individual support-Suitability and experience of your background (CV advice)
- Types of SEND schools that Classroom work with
- Volunteer placement opportunities for those who feel they would like to see other teachers teach
- Success stories of other NQT’s getting full time roles in mainstream and SEND schools
So if you would like to find out more, please apply with your CV. I will then phone you talk you through your CV and how you can improve it before the information session/registration on June 1st. Please apply now by emailing your CV to michael@classroomteachers.co.uk
