To be or not to be a TA? Actors wanted at most actor friendly teaching agency!

To be or not be a TA? Actors wanted at most actor friendly teaching agency!

Are you looking to gain more experience working with children? Have you got a background in TIE? Why not work with the most actor friendly teaching agency in London?

Classroom is a teaching agency based on Regent Street looking for actors with experience working with children to join our agencies. We have worked with many actors over a number of years and have managed to find them flexible work around auditions, or longer term contracts to fit in between productions.

Some of the benefits of working with Classroom (according to our current actors)

• Flexibility to choose what days they would like to work
• Personalities and experience doing T.I.E makes you adaptable and flexible to any school environment
• We have been told that by working as a teaching assistant can help in securing acting roles

We pay a minimum of £65 per day, although this can increase based on the type of work you do (e.g. working with pupils with Special Educational Needs will increase this rate) as well on feedback.

If you are interested in this type of work to supplement your acting, then why not contact Classroom on 020 7636 0600 and speak to a member of our Support Team, or email lucyh@classroomteachers.co.uk with your CV!

Do not just take our word for it. This is what Gemma, an actor working for Classroom has said:

"When I first left drama school I was very worried about finding the right "day job", it's tough for an actor to be able to balance paying bills and also be able to drop everything for an audition. I wanted something flexible, but I also wanted to enjoy whatever I was doing. I must say that Classroom has been fantastic and I would highly recommend this agency to actors. The staff are incredibly understanding of our industry and very helpful with finding the right position to meet your needs. Acting will always come first for me, but Classroom offers a lovely journey along the way and I thoroughly enjoy my days that I get to work with children. Thank you to Emma and the amazing team at Classroom."

We look forward to hearing from you.
